Foxtown has facilitated a great way to lessen the impact and volume at Red River Gorge while simultaneously providing solid climbing on similar rock with much greater levels of solitude. 12 years ago you could show up to "The Gallery" on a Saturday and have the place to yourself. You could still show up on a Saturday these days, it would just be laughable to consider it solitary. With intermittent gorgeous days throughout the winter, it is also easily accessible on a whim (or when locating a partner becomes more of a chore).
Depending on your level of exposure at Foxtown, it is probably comical leading in with Walker's Branch as the relative solitary option. We'll leave that as it is tho and look forward to experiencing more remote spots where we can hike, climb, and ideally nestle up with the Aliner to really spend quality time.

If you are looking to get your hands on rock within Foxtown but you aren't sure where to start, the following resources are super helpful:
Red River Climbing app - this will give you mountain project type beta regarding access and problems
Foxtown Bouldering and Parking (KML) - locations for climbing and parking in google maps for simplified navigation
